Leaftail is a web app that helps you keep care reminders and records for your pets and house plants. The free version is free to use with no time limit. Pro features are unlocked with a license key bought through a one-time payment. Leaftail is sold under the Dowel Pages studio brand; contact details are on the Contact page.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Leaftail and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy Pro.
Leaftail only stores and repeats the reminders and intervals you choose. It does not give veterinary, medical, nutritional or horticultural advice, does not recommend vaccines, medicines or doses, and does not tell you whether a plant is safe for your pets. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions and the label of any product you use. If your pet seems ill or may have eaten something toxic, contact a veterinarian or an animal poison hotline right away. Reminders appear when you open the app or through your own calendar; they can be missed (for example if your device is off or a calendar alert is disabled), so do not rely on Leaftail alone for time-critical medication.
Your data is stored only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for it, including making backups. We cannot see or recover data deleted from your browser.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Leaftail. A Pro key is for your own household's use on your own devices. Do not share, publish or resell keys; publicly shared keys may be disabled in future versions. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
The price is shown in US dollars before you pay and is charged once through Stripe. Taxes may apply depending on your location. Pro is delivered immediately after payment. You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, as described in the Refund Policy. This is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under consumer law.
We work to keep Leaftail available and working correctly, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or harm resulting from a missed or incorrect reminder, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim (or US$20 if you used only the free version). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Do not use Leaftail for anything illegal or to attack or overload the website.
We may update the app and these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Changes do not take away Pro features you already paid for. You can stop using Leaftail at any time by deleting your data.
Please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly by email. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws and courts of the country where you live.
Product and brand names mentioned by users in the app belong to their owners. Leaftail is not affiliated with any veterinary clinic, pet food or plant care brand.
